Andy manages our Boomer facility in Wilkes County. As a Physician Assistant, he is fully qualified to diagnose any number of illnesses and prescribe treatments. He consults with doctors as he needs to for unusual or atypical cases. In addition, he has full referring access to all of Hugh Chatham’s specialty practices.

Dr. Erlandson was born in Austin, Texas, but was raised in Charlotte. He loves to tout that “HCMH is the best community hospital in North Carolina.” In his free time, you may find Dr. Erlandson hiking on Stone Mountain or fishing in one of our many streams and lakes.

When she isn’t practicing medicine, she enjoys many of the outdoor activities the area has to offer. She and her husband have four children.

His responsibilities at our Hays location include managing acute and chronic medical problems for his patients.
